Shoot evaluations

Digital Shoot in Studio

This shoot didn't go quite as I had planned as I ran out of time very quickly, the majority of this shoot was spent trying to get the camera settings and lights right so the images weren't over/under exposed, because of this I didn't have as much time to experiment with grouping as I would have liked. Although this was a slight problem it won't affect my final outcome as I am not planning on using them for my final book, they are just experimentations.

Digital Shoot on Location (1)

After I had done this shoot and looked back through my images I realised I had taken more images in strange/random locations than in everyday objects so I decided to do a re shoot of more random places and see how the turned out so I had a full set of strong images rather than just using them for the sake of it. I feel like my strongest images from this set are the ones in the sink and the ones in both the lamp and the light shade, this is because I think this is where I really started to change to the theme of random places rather than house hold items.

Digital Shoot on Location (2)

After doing this re-shoot I am confident that I have a wide variety of strong images to use in my book, I am especially pleased with my images by the iron as i like the way the sun is shining on them, I feel this makes the images feel less staged and as if you had just stumbled upon it, rather than having been staged with the lighting and positioning.

Overall Shoot Evaluation

Overall I am pleased with how my shoots turned out, I feel a have a wide variety of high quality images which can be edited down to create my final book. With having a variety of different locations i can try and have all my images in my book in a different location, however for some I may have to use the same location twice if I don't have enough locations.
