Evaluation

For this assignment I have photographed bouncy balls in random places around the house, I chose to do this as I felt it was quite quirky and different from anything I had done before and I wanted to prove to myself that I could photograph different things, my idea slightly changed from the beginning of this assignment, they have only been slight changes, for example to begin with I was going to do my shoots in the studio however I felt this was too plain and boring so I decided to place the bouncy balls with household items, after trying this I discovered I didn't have enough everyday items that I could place them with so I decided to just photograph them in random places.

I have photographed on four different types of camera for this assignment, my Canon EOS70D, fujifilm instax mini, iPhone 6 and also a disposable camera, by doing this I ensured I had plenty of different image formats to work with and decide which I liked the best, these were my DSLR images.

Overall I am really pleased with how my book turned out, I think the photos I took on my digital camera were definitely my strongest images, I am a bit dissapointed that hardly any of my disposable images came out properly which is why I haven't included them in my contact sheets, I also took a few photos on my phone and my fujifilm instax, however the quality of these were quite poor, once I have scanned the instax images and downloaded my phone images I will create a new contact sheet for them and add them to my blog.

I feel like the majority of my images were quite strong when I properly got into my theme, although I didn't get 35 totally different images I am still very happy with my final images and how I chose to display them in my book, however if I was to re-do this assignment I would make sure I had a few disposable cameras all with a variety of different images on them so that if one didn't work out I would still have more to play with.
